Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Sorry it has taken me so long to update but mommy and daddy have been keeping me pretty busy. We have gone to visit lots of family. We went to Atmore for Christmas. I got to see Tyler the dog and Cuna. Cuna gave me a goodie bag full of tasty treats and toys. Tyler gave me a gift card to PetSmart. I can't wait for mommy and daddy to take me so I can pick out some new toys. I know they won't let me pick out any thing soft and fuzzy because all I do with those toys it tear holes in them.
Before Christmas, mommy, daddy and I went to a donkey farm. It was a friend of mommy's. Mommy and daddy put on these outfits and I didn't hardly recognize them. Then they took our picture. It was fun but there was a big dog there that wasn't real happy for me to be there. I've included a picture of our adventure to the farm. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you all have a Happy New Year.

The Big Game

Well, Tyler didn't get to come see me this weekend. His mommy got sick and didn't want to spread her germs to Mommy and Daddy. I'm sad that they didn't come see me but I think Mommy and Daddy are going to take me back to Atmore next weekend. Something about Papa and a birthday. Not sure about what is going on. Anyway, Mommy and Daddy had some friends come over today and we all watched the Alabama and LSU game. It was such a stressful game. I couldn't even watch the end I was so nervous. Bama pulled through in the end and got a HUGE win. After Chris, Brooke, Hillary, and Nanoe left, I sacked out! It was too much stress for me. Maybe tomorrow and next week will be better.

Visitors

I am so excited! Mommy keeps telling me that her mommy is coming to see me this weekend! You know that she is the Mommy to Tyler. Sometimes he and I don't get along, especially when we are inside. He likes to get in my space and I like to get in his. When we are outside though, we love to run and chase each other around the yard. Mommy says that Tyler may not come with her Mommy b/c her Daddy (Pop)isn't coming. Something about deer season. I don't know anything about this deer season thing but Mommy says that she has shown me some that are hanging on the wall in Atmore! Apparently Pop and Uncle Stewart like to go out in the woods and hunt the elusive deer. When they kill a big one, they hang it on the wall at their house. I've smelled the meat cooking and it sure does smell good. Maybe one day, I'll be good enough to get to go hunting with Daddy. I hear that sometimes my cousin Cuna gets to go with Uncle Stewart and Aunt Maya and she is really good. Maybe if I'm good, when I grow up, Daddy will take me.

Pomp and Circumstance

Here is my graduation picture that David took of Daddy, Me, and Mommy. See my diploma!!! I'm so smart

This is a picture of my class. Toka, Sara, Zoey, Shelby, and Me (And their parents of course)!

Here is a picture of Zoey in Daddy's lap. She liked getting in other people's laps. It made me jealous!
Mommy and Daddy had to work really hard to get me to wear that hat but they finally got it to stay on my head. Me, I thought it would be fun to eat it!

Well, I did it. I'm finally an intermediate graduate of the PetSmart obedience training class. I had so much fun and met so many new friends. One of my best friends was Zoey. We sat by each other every Wednesday night in class and we always got in trouble. Our Mommies and my Daddy were always telling us to be quiet and pulling us away from each other. I don't know why they wouldn't let us talk during class. The teacher was teaching them, not us. Anyway, we had a lot of fun and David is a REALLY good teacher. He has taught me so many things. I know how to sit, stand, walk on a loose leash, heel, shake, stay, get on my bed, come when called, and so many other things I can't name. You know I said I KNOW HOW TO do all of these things but sometimes Mommy and Daddy say that I'm stubborn and don't do them. I just think that they don't ask me nicely enough or with enough treats! Here are some pictures of me at graduation as well as some of my friends.

Howl-O-Ween, Part 2

Here is the picture of me, Mommy, and Daddy at PetSmart. You can't see my costume very well but trust me, I'm wearing the hotdog!

Lazy Days!

It has been a pretty uneventful weekend. Yesterday was spent out in the yard searching for the elusive chipmunks that think they can hide in my yard. After several hours of that. I came inside and curled up on the couch with Daddy and watched some football. The game we were watching was a little slow so Daddy fell asleep. I was so comfy laying on his tummy and his breathing was so soothing that I fell asleep too. Apparently Mommy noticed we were asleep, so she took a break from cookie baking and took our picture. I love snuggling with Daddy! :) On Sunday, I discovered a new thing in the living room. Mommy and Daddy say it has been there since the day I came to live with them. I think they just put it there to bug me. They call it an elephant and they are everywhere in the house. Big ones, Little ones, soft ones, hard ones. All different kinds of elephants. Well, I thought it was going to attack me so I attacked first. Mommy and Daddy thought it was funny so they took my picture. Me I didn't see the humor in it all. I just want these elephants off of my turf!

Howl-O-ween

Tuesday night was soooo much fun, well mostly. First, when Mommy and Daddy got home, they kept trying to put this thing on my back. It was like Daddy's backpack but smaller and softer. It looked like a hotdog, but they wouldn't let me eat it. I tried really hard but they kept stopping me. Finally, they loaded me up in the car and we got to go to my FAVORITE place, PetSmart. I was so excited when we got there that I totally forgot about that thing on my back. There were so many other dogs there, I wanted to sniff every one of them. While Mommy, Daddy, and I were standing in line to get my picture taken, I saw a doggie that looked and sounded just like me. Daddy took me over to meet her. Her name was Maggie. She was there with her Mommy, Granddaddy, and Grandma (They told me what she calls them but I can't remember right now.) I really enjoyed meeting Maggie. I can't wait to see her again. When Mommy and Daddy teach me how to use the scanner and the camera, I'll post the pictures of me in my hotdog.

Spoiled Rotten

I am not rotten. My parents call me that sometime, but I don't think I am. I am somewhat of a traveller. I have been a couple places, keep in mind that I am not quite a year old. I love going to visit my family in Atmore. Tyler (the dog) lives there. He visits me some. I also got to meet Cuna, one of my other relatives, a few weeks ago. I will post some photos of them when I get them. Tyler is a Papillon/Jack Russell mix, and I am not sure what Cuna is, but she is one of the smartest dogs I know. I also have Tyler (the boy) who is my parents nephew. He loves me so much, and I love him. Please check back with me. I love new people. I have never met a stranger.

An Average Day

Bear is new to blogging, so he may have a bit of a learning curve. My average day consists of sleeping and playing. I love to make mommy and daddy get up and let me in or out of the back door so I can either play or handle my business, mostly to play. I haven't been here but about 9 months, but in that 9 months I have grown from about 6 pounds to around 27 pounds and have grown to love my mommy and daddy so much that I can't stand to be without them. They feed me and play with me and take care of me when need be. Being a beagle, I am prone to ear problems. When my ears itch, they rub them and put wonderful eardrops in them that make them feel so good. Please visit my blog and watch me as I grow.
